My photo group (Chicks That Click) went to one of the members’ home for a photo shoot of her property. She had several non-professional models posing for us in various places. The models were very accommodating and allowed us to take lots and lots of pictures. I hope you enjoy these pictures of these lovely models.
Kelly and Kinsley
I took some studio pics of my friend, Kelly and her adorable granddaughter, who is a very precocious 4 year old. She loves to talk and enjoys having her picture taken. She is the perfect photographic subject, not just because of her “Shirley Temple” looks, but her personality as well. I took over 200 photos, and narrowed it down to about 100. Here are the ones I like very much.
Ladies Tea 2017
I took some pictures in West Town Community Church for a Ladies Tea in May. It was a bit challenging because of the poor lighting in the auditorium and the wide open space. I used strobe lighting and a speed light. Here are the results. It was a fun day although a little stressful.
Portraits
These Portraits were taken in my upstairs photo studio using new lighting equipment.
I took these portraits after taking an indoor lighting class. To take the self-portraits, I set up my tripod with my Nikon camera mounted on top, set the backgrounds, used a special release device, set the camera, focused and sat down. It was a process, but I believe the self-portraits came out very nice.
My friend volunteered to have her portrait taken as well. I think the results are quite good. Of course, I will gain skill and will be perfecting my techniques with time.
