My friend Laura asked that I take a few professional head shots for her online presence. She came to the studio and we tried a gray background, but I suggested we try a light blue. She has lovely blue eyes and the blue background made them show up more. We both agreed that the blue background was the best. She then suggested that we take a few outside. We went outside near my house and I shot a few with trees in the background.

I did a photos shoot of my friend, Becky. She came to my studio with a number of different outfits. She has such a unique style and loves to dress up, so it wasn’t a stretch when she posed in her cute clothes. I didn’t even have to pose her–she was just a natural. It was a wonderful photoshoot and Becky was very pleased with the results.
Head shots
I was asked to do some head shots for a friend. He will then present these to an agency. I took these at my studio. He was a very cooperative subject.
Head Shots of Andi and Ethan
My friend Andi and her son Ethan came over to my house for an impromptu head shot photo shoot. He is a very tall young man and it was his first time posing. His mom, Andi, is a fellow photographer who specializes in portraiture so she was able to direct her son easily. It was a very satisfactory photo shoot and I believe I captured his spirit as well as his good looks. My bird, Merlino, got in on the act as well by posing with Andi in a few of the shots.
