I wanted to create a rustic composition that had both warmth and elegance. I assembled a pretty glass red vase and added pink lilies. I matched the red vase with a lit red candle on a pewter holder. I added red apples spilling out of a wicker basket. I then arranged these gorgeous elements on a green cloth for contrast. I added a complementary texture to highlight the beauty of this composition.

Party of Skulls
I decided to create an image with skulls being the stars. I came across an unusual gold skull and decided to add it to the other two skulls I have. To enhance the eerie quality of this composition, I added a dark orange texture. For a more dramatic effect I added several different sized lit candles. I had an old child’s hat that fit perfectly on the gold skull’s head.
